Putting My Foot (Fork) Down

It was a pretty low-key weekend, wherein I got to appreciate some serious solitude and quiet time, and also realized what I need to keep myself from going insane during my self-imposed hermittage (i.e. sometimes, reading a book will make you crazy!).

I really, really wish that Charlie and I had skipped the disgusting Chinese buffet on our date night.  I was too ill to gorge myself on Spice of Life Catering‘s Landscape Brunch in Howe Meadow on Saturday morning.  It wasn’t cheap to go to, and had I been able to stuff myself silly, it would have been worth every friggin penny.

That said, I’m calling them later this week to see if they’re hosting another brunch.  That’s how good my nauseous nibbles were.
